The groundhog says 6 more weeks of winter!! That is good news because summer is coming and sales will soon follow!  How to get your message to resonate with buyers is very important.  Getting your message across using direct mail in today’s marketing tsunami is an art in itself.  When doing a targeted mailing list campaign the “data” is the biggest element to your success.  Getting it there on time is down to good planning and using a trusted data and mail house supplier.  Once it hits their doorstep, unless it’s opened, your message is going to be missing in action and you don’t want that to happen.  When trying to get your targeted mailing list campaign to go off without a hitch, you need to do a couple of small things.  First make it look official.  Put a message on the envelope.  “For personal use only” or “enclosed documents” etc.… People are going to be naturally curious, so give your campaign some mystery or intrigue.  People love to touch and feel.  So maybe have something different in the envelope.  Maybe give an eraser or magnet with your company’s logo on it.  The goal is to get them to open up your mailer and notice you!   Don’t be afraid to be different and try new things.  It’s crazy but just doing something a little bit different then your competitors will yield huge results for your company!  Play on the strengths of your prospects.  People are most interested in themselves so offer something that will “benefit” them or help them accomplish their goals.
