Good Morning! As many of you know we love sharing information with others and we love helping businesses grow. But one thing many of you may not know is that Dundee Data is a Family Owned company and I guess you could say we are a “Grassroots” kind of company. We have high family values, and a beautiful Midwest Culture. I guess one could say that because we are a family owned company we find things happening in families around the nation also affect companies as well. And as fall is upon us and weather here in the Midwest slowly changes and the leaves change to beautiful colors, we also feel another need for change. Change of what you ask? We at Dundee Data wish to help change and stop Bullying. Bullying is not what it was years ago. Technology can be ohhh such a Blessing, but for those being bullied it can be a curse. Now days a person can be bullied on the internet, thru their phones, texting etc. These things all happen within seconds and are life changing for those being bullied.
I heard a story recently that really gave a good analogy for children and adults; a teacher gave everyone in her class a new sheet of paper. She told them that they could crumple it, draw lines on it etc. After a few moments she asked everyone to stop and lay the paper flat, try to get the wrinkles out of the best they could. Then she told the students, to tell the paper they were sorry…… She than explained, that apologizing is nice but as the students can see the damage has been done, and will leave an imprint on the paper, just like it does with people when we don’t treat them as we should.
Because we at Dundee Data wish to help stop Bullying and also help encourage people to stop bullying when they see it being done to others, we are sponsoring a commercial against bullying that will air on 105.9 in Omaha the week of October 24th. I believe if we all chip in and help bring this matter to others attention we can know that we are improving things a bit. J
So when you think of Dundee Data, we want you to think of a company that takes Great Pride in Helping companies with their marketing needs, but we would also like you to think of Dundee Data as a company that cares beyond just companies, we care about people.
Hope you all are having a Wonderful Fall, and as the leaves and weather change, please take a minute and think/reflect on what you can change to help in your community and families with this epidemic.

At the town hall, Anderson spoke with Lee Hirsch, the director of “The Bully Project.” With an intimate glimpse into homes, classrooms, cafeterias and principals’ offices, the documentary offers insight into the often cruel world of the lives of bullied children. The film aims to be a catalyst for change in the way we deal with bullying as parents, teachers, children and society as a whole. Find out more at thebullyproject.com
